Terrazas De Flores Botanical Garden: Cebu’s Breezy Floral Nirvana
I always look forward to spending some quality time with my family every Sunday. From our traditional lunch get-togethers at Ayala to the road trips down south, Sundays with my folks just evoke a positive, blissful and easygoing feeling. But, lately, we’ve been pretty grounded with our getaways and excursions, thanks to our busy schedules. That’s why I decided to surprise my wife (Mrs. Bisaya Traveler) and the rest of the family to a quick retreat to Terrazas De Flores Botanical Garden in Malubog, Cebu. Astoria Bohol: A Laid-Back And Picturesque Sanctuary In Baclayon
My life, for the past few weeks, has been a whirlwind full of surprises and fun-filled adventures. After an intimate (and close-mouthed) wedding, a memorable trip to China and a visit to Bohol’s sea of clouds, my wife and I felt like we could use a soothing getaway in a secluded seaside paradise far away from all the commotion. While seaside resorts aren’t my cup of tea, Club Fort Med still swept me off my feet with its laid-back tropical charm and inviting pools. Not to mention, it has cushy accommodations that gave me a relaxing good night’s sleep. I wasn’t really pumped up, when my girlfriend Rabbie, told me we were going to Club Fort Med, after our quick visit to the mystical cave in Argao. Even though they are lovely, great and relaxing, seaside resorts aren’t just my thing. I…

An Atmospheric Outdoor Movie Experience in Ayala Center, Cebu
Whether you’re a cunning millennial or a retired foreigner, Cebu is by far a cool and incredible place to live in. While it’s not as intentionally renowned as Singapore, Hong Kong or New York, the “Queen City of the South” literally has no shortage of treats to offer to locals and visitors alike. From a buzzing wave of new restaurants popping up every year to the amusing art galleries and shows in the malls, Cebu always has plenty of surprises and delights to put you on a state of bliss. And one of the city’s most recent surprises I just bumped into was the free outdoor movie showing on the…
