Sumilon Island: An Affordable DIY Trip To Cebu’s Gorgeous Sandbar
Sumilon Island has been on my travel wish-list ever since wanderlust woke up a couple of years ago. With its clear azure waters and pristine white sands, Sumilon Island’s sandbar is by far a photogenic and mesmerizing tropical idyll that lures all types of travelers. But, the prices for the day tour (PHP 1,500 to 2,000 per person) from Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort were a bit steep for my taste. Ili Rock: Soaking Up The Awe-Inspiring Coastal Views In Boljoon
I’m absolute a sucker for high points with dramatic overlooking panoramas. Whether it’s on top of a summit or from an urban observation deck, I always look forward to enjoying jaw-dropping views from a bird’s perspective, whenever I hit the road. But, for me, there’s no better way to heal an aching heart than to travel to a new and unknown faraway land. What do I know about love to give such piece of advice? Well,…

Mount Lanaya: A Pleasant Hike That Helped Beat Energy Gap
Nothing ushers in the New Year and beats a holiday hangover better than a good old fashioned hike up the mountains. After a short hiatus from hiking and weeks of overindulgence, Team Bang is once again back on the track, with a hike to one of the mountains in our never-ending travel wish-list – Mount Lanaya in Alegria, Cebu. While it was a fairly easy climb (we took the easier trail, with time not on our side), it was still a great shock to our system and a fantastic way to start a year with a bang. Of course, it did also help “beat energy gap” by flushing out the…
