Kabalas: Unwinding At Mount Naupa’s Postcard-worthy Neighbor
The first time I laid eyes on Kabalas, I was truly enchanted by its natural beauty. As a matter of fact, I was so engrossed by its charm that we – me, Cherwinn, John Chris and Marc – decided to spend some time there, unwinding and drinking in the serene and beautiful atmosphere. And thanks to a spontaneous and out-of-the-blue hike to Naga, I got another chance to cherish its laid-back, relaxing and postcard-worthy scenery. Boljoon Adventure: Hiking With A Wonderfully Weird Twist
With a never-ending list of places to visit, most of today’s backpackers or travelers don’t like to repeat a destination. Once they hit one of the places on their “bucket list”, they set their sights on another destination, and never look back. And I totally get it, even if that means missing out on local secrets and quaint towns like Boljoon, Cebu. What’s more, it’s, to me, a much cheaper pastime, as compared to a movie date with a bunch of your beshies at a nearby mall. And, that’s why I just can’t stop thinking of hiking mountains. Even though I just…

Eagle’s Cave: A Mystical Labyrinth Full Of Thrills And Spills
Last year, I scratched out Dalaguete from my list of top local destinations in Cebu. With tons of Instagram junkies flaunting their OOTDs on the town’s well-known summit, I thought Dalaguete was becoming a little worn out and a cliché. Heck, even Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo followed the trend, by hitting O’peak (that’s how mainstream Dalaguete has become). But, recently, Dalaguete has won back my heart, sweeping me into bliss with its low-key, underrated sites. And one of the town’s underrated wonders that I just bumped into is the Eagle’s Cave in Barangay Obo. The Eagle’s Cave, or also referred as Dingayop Cave, was, hands down, the best surprise…
